Shah Rukh Khan Wants To Open An Acting School

To say that Shah Rukh Khan has made his mark in the world of acting would be an understatement. The actor, who celebrated his 50th birthday yesterday, expressed a desire to give back to the acting fraternity in his own small way.
"One of my dream projects is to be able to create an institution where youngsters can come and learn professional acting, the technicalities of the craft and the different styles of acting. I would like to dedicate my life to making that," said SRK.
The Happy New Year actor added that he would not like to name the acting school after himself. Talking about the need for such an institute, he elaborated, "I think in India, the 2 shortcomings we have in filmmaking are screenplay writing and a proper acting school. Maybe something like The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute. Anupam (Kher) has done a great job but I think it needs to be done at a bigger level."
SRK also narrated how his daughter Suhana has expressed interest in pursuing acting but he hasn't been able to zero in on any Indian school that could fit the bill.
